Sol Paradise is a London-born solo artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer carving out a distinct space in the UK's alt-jazz scene - blending soul-drenched jazz, cinematic textures, and a raw alternative edge into a sound that's both expansive and intimate.
Named Spotify's Fresh Finds Artist of the Month and cover star of Fresh Finds UK, Sol is fast emerging as a defining voice in the independent scene. His live rise has been relentless: eight consecutive sold-out headline shows in London set the tone, followed by a fully sold-out Summer 2025 UK tour spanning Glasgow, Bristol, Brighton and Norwich, culminating in a triumphant hometown finale at a packed Omeara.
He closed the year with his first international sell-out headline show in Paris, another sold-out London headline at Dalston Curve Garden, and a run on Emma-Jean Thackray's UK tour ending at KOKO.
Recent EP Desire Lines has pushed his global streaming tally past 1 million, drawing support from John Kennedy (Radio X), Huw Stephens (BBC 6 Music), Angela Griffin (BBC Radio 2), and Jess Iszatt (BBC Introducing). Gilles Peterson featured single "Living Our Age" on BBC 6 Music, calling Sol "a great new talent" - the track went on to earn three separate Track of the Week spots on Jazz FM.
On stage, whether solo or with his five-piece band, Sol switches between trumpet, guitar, and vocals to create a genre-blurring live show described as "a room-filling sound that sweeps you up and away" (Right Chord). He's currently working toward a hotly-anticipated debut album, due 2027.
Beyond the music, Sol is driven by a commitment to community, mental health advocacy, and a deep connection to nature. Through Sol to Soil, he curates community garden volunteer days and pop-up performances in green spaces across London - turning the outdoors into immersive musical experiences.
